In Memory of: RONALD COWELL

Memphis - Ronald L. Cowell, 82, peacefully passed away in Memphis, TN on April 6, 2022, with his family by his side. He was born in Nashville, TN on September 22, 1939, lived in Jackson, TN and moved to Memphis, TN in 1951. He was a member of the first graduating class of White Station High School. He was in the U.S. Air Force and served in Germany.
 

Ron was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie M. Lampley Habern (Chester) and father, George H. Cowell (Louise) and his brother, Phillip W. Cowell, as well as his fur companions, Callie and Sally.

Ron leaves his son and daughter-in-law, Zachary and Jenny Cowell, and three wonderful grandchildren – Zoe, Zachary ("Zeke") and Jenna. He also leaves his brother Bill Habern, his sister Patricia ("Trisha") Habern Welsh (Candler), his sister-in-law Patti Cowell, niece Debo Cowell Carson (Larry), and nephew Tommy Matthews.
