Anyone! Deaf, Hearing, Students, Interpreters, Professionals, Novices.. YOU QUALIFY!

AUDITION PROCESS:

• Contact the Gate Communications Office & Request a Time Slot on August 16th CLICK HERE
• Choose a Time Slot from Available Times Provided by the Gate Communications Office
• Provide All Contact Information to the Gate Office
• Receive a Packet Explaining the Audition Process
• Prepare Your Personal Performance
• Provide Release Forms and Performance Explanations to the Gate Communications Office
• Audition Live or Via Video on August 16th
• Responses from Judging will be Sent by August 20th

TYPES OF ACCEPTED PERFORMANCES:

• Dance
• Drama
• Mime
• Storytelling
• ASL Poetry
• Video / Film
• Music
• Musical Theatre

All performances must include some form of Sign Language or Mime. All forms of Sign Language are acceptable. The judges will require all interpretations be conceptually accurate. For assistance in defining the accuracy of your interpretation, contact the Gate Communications Office. Performances must be FAMILY FRIENDLY. No performances involving sex, alcohol, swearing, or suggestive movements/comments will be approved by the judges. Only 25 audition slots are available so don't delay in signing up!
